By using ScreenBestie, you agree to these Terms.

1. Purpose of the App

ScreenBestie is a self-improvement tool designed to help you use your phone more intentionally.

It provides:

• reminders
• gentle friction
• AI-based reflection

2. No Guarantees

ScreenBestie:

• does not guarantee reduced screen time
• does not permanently block apps
• cannot prevent device-level actions (e.g. uninstalling apps or changing system settings)

You remain fully responsible for your device usage.

3. Subscriptions

Some features require a paid subscription.

• Payments are handled by Apple via your Apple ID
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the billing period
• You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple account settings

Access to premium features is managed via RevenueCat.

4. Free Trials (if applicable)

If a free trial is offered:

• it will automatically convert to a paid subscription unless canceled before the trial ends

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• misuse the app
• attempt to disrupt or reverse engineer the app
• use the app for illegal purposes

6. AI Disclaimer

The AI feature:

• provides general guidance only
• is not medical, psychological, or professional advice
• may produce inaccurate or incomplete responses

7. Health Disclaimer

ScreenBestie is not a medical or therapeutic product. It does not diagnose, treat, or prevent any condition.

8. Limitation of Liability

The app is provided “as is” and “as available”.

We are not liable for:

• loss of data
• device issues
• outcomes related to your behavior or screen time

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access if required by law or if these Terms are violated.

You may stop using the app at any time.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms. Continued use means you accept the updated Terms.
