ScreenBestie is designed to help you use your phone more intentionally. We collect minimal data and prioritize keeping your data on your device.

We do not sell personal data.

2. Data We Collect

a) Data stored on your device

Most data is stored locally on your device, including:

• usage preferences and limits
• interaction history with the app
• reflection responses
• session data

We do not automatically upload this data to our servers.

b) Limited analytics

We may collect limited, non-identifiable data such as:

• app opens and feature usage
• crashes and performance data

This helps us improve the app.

c) AI interactions

When you use the AI reflection feature:

• your input may be sent to a third-party AI provider (e.g. Google Gemini API)
• the data is used only to generate a response in real time
• we do not use this data to identify you or build user profiles

d) Subscription and payments

Subscriptions are processed by Apple (App Store) and managed via RevenueCat.

We do not collect or store your payment details.

3. How We Use Data

We use data to:

• provide and maintain app functionality
• enable subscriptions
• improve performance and stability
• generate AI responses when requested

4. Data Sharing

We share data only with:

• Apple (payments and subscriptions)
• RevenueCat (subscription infrastructure)
• AI providers (only when needed for generating responses)

We do not sell or rent your data.

5. Data Retention

• Data stored locally remains on your device
• Deleting the app removes local data
• We do not maintain long-term personal user profiles
